Hold A Flower in the Palm of Your Hand
is a photographic project
exploring the natural interdependent co-arising between each individual
life form and the universe.
Blossomed out of the Buddhist phrase "One Flower, One World" and the
concept of fractal geometry, the project reflects the structural
resemblance between microcosm and macrocosm. Every grain of sand,
plant, body, tree, or mountain is a manifestation of the cosmos. To the
universe, everything is tiny, yet to the tiniest, each is a universe. One is all,
and all is one, entwining beings with the cosmos.
Through photography, this work depicts a network of interconnectedness
by diptychs, seeking to celebrate the inherent harmony and beauty within
the natural world.
